During his tenure as a production assistant at Eddie Murphy Productions, Mr. Murphy was promoted to producer soon after working on films such as LIFE (1999), HOLY MAN (1998), METRO (1997), VAMPIRE IN BROOKLYN (1995), COMING TO AMERICA (1998), BEVERLY HILLS COP III (1994), THE DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN (1992), BOOMERANG (1992), ANOTHER 48 HRS. (1990), HARLEM NIGHTS (1989), and  BEVERLY HILLS COP II (1987).  Ray Murphy Jr.'s dedication and expertise earned him the position of President for more than eight years at Eddie Murphy Productions. Under his leadership, the box office gross revenues and media rentals worldwide for films under the Eddie Murphy Productions umbrella, has significantly exceeded well over $1 billion dollars..
